Election Holidays for Govt Employees due to General Election, Bye Election, State MLA Election, Local Body Election

A major portion of election duty is being fulfilled by Government employees while performing any elections in India. The state and central government employees are participating on the day of poll and day of counting. The concerned Department of Head of Section is deciding the suitable staff for the post of polling officer, returning officer and sub staff for election duty as per the requirement of ECI.
