To check the admission or waiting list of KV class 1 of your child, first, go to the concerned KV school official website. Go to the ‘Announcement’ page and click the Waiting List pdf.
It depends on where you stand on the waiting list. If you are on top, then there is high probability of getting a seat. Please do wait for the second selection list.
Scanned photograph of the child, Scanned Birth Certificate of the child, if you are applying under the economically weak section, details of the Government Certificate, Transfer details of the Parents/Grandparents whose service credentials will be used in the application.
Kendriya Vidyalaya is a central government school whose branches are spread across the country, to primarily help parents who work in the army, navy, airforce, or any other government job that requires frequent transfers.
Anybody can apply for Class 1 Admissions in KV, regardless of parents’ profession, but the priority is given to the Central Government employees who are a part of the Indian Defence and to ex-servicemen.
There are several KVs spread across the city but KV IIT Madras is unique on its own. The campus is humongous and filled with greenery. There are even chances of spotting deers around the campus.
There are 4 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Avadi. KV AFS, KV HVF, KV OCF and KV CRPF. Out of the four, KV HVF is considered the best. With a green and clean campus, it provides all the infrastructure that the students need. The playgrounds are enormous and equipped to play. The mother Banyan provides shade to conduct any event with ease. The faculty is great too.
The total fee for a Class 1 student is Rs.1500 per quarter. The fee is paid every 3 months. Books, uniform, shoes, transport expenses are to be borne by the parents.
Single Girl Child means that the student is should be a female with no siblings. She should be the only child to her parents. There is no fee for Single Girl Child.
There is no fee for Single Girl Child. She is exempted from paying fee till Class 12. When applying for admissions, make sure you choose the ‘Single Girl Child’ quota. Also, you need to produce a Affidavit to prove that she is the only child born to you.
