CBSE Syllabus in Private and KV Schools

SYLLABUS IN PRIVATE AND KV SCHOOLS

All the schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) follow syllabus prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) up to Middle Class level (Classes I to VIII) and the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE for Classes IX to XII. The CBSE has no mechanism to compare the fees structure of different schools affiliated to it.

Flexibility of using books other than NCERT books for classes I to VIII has been given keeping in view the recommendation of the National Curriculum Framework, 2005 about plurality of text books. Complaints in this regard as and when received are dealt with as per rules.
