NATO Full Form: The full form of NATO is North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The major goal of this term is to use political and military measures to ensure the safety and freedom of its members. The headquarters of NATO is located in Brussels, Belgium. It was founded in 1949 in Washington, D.C. NATO states that it is ‘committed to the peaceful resolution of disputes.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was founded on the 4th of April 1949, when the North Atlantic Treaty was signed. There are currently 30 NATO members, including 27 Europeans, two North Americans, and one Eurasian.
