Post Office GDS Recruitment 2023 for 40889 Vacancy

For the positions of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak, India Post is now accepting applications through the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). From 27 January 2023 to 16 February 2023, applications will be accepted online at www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in, the company’s official website.

But from February 17 to February 19, 2023, candidates can make changes to their applications.

1. Educational Qualification

A secondary school pass certificate from the 10th grade examination given by any recognised Board of School Education by the Government of India, State Governments, or any of the Union Territories in India is required for all sanctioned categories of GDS. Additionally, students need to be proficient in both English and mathematics.

2. India Post GDS’s Age Restriction

The candidate shouldn’t be older than 40 and shouldn’t be younger than 18. If not, they won’t be able to get this job.

• India Post would use a system-generated merit list to narrow down the candidates.
• The Secondary School Examination of the 10th Standard of Approved Boards, aggregated to% with a four-decimal accuracy, will be used to prepare the Merit List. Every subject must be passed in accordance with the corresponding, recognised board standards.
• Only their overall marks will be calculated for candidates who received grades or grades and points on their Secondary School Examination of 10th Standard mark sheet, taking into account the grades received in all mandatory and optional subjects other than extra subjects.
