The results of the admission lottery for Balvatika-III (equivalent to the UKG section) have been unveiled by the esteemed KV schools. These results have been determined through a meticulous Draw of Lots method.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Balvatika-3 Admission 2024-25 Started!

In an effort to ensure fairness and equal opportunities, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has recently launched an online admission process for the Balvatika-III class in 450 selected KV schools. This online process began on July 6th, 2023 and concluded on July 18th, 2023. Today, the respective KV schools have officially published the admission list, also known as the Lottery results. This list includes applicants from all categories and has been generated using the comprehensive Draw of Lots method.

It is crucial to note that these admissions are provisional and are subject to document verification at any given stage. During the admission process, parents are required to provide both original certificates and self-attested copies of the following documents. The original certificates will be returned after verification:

1. Copy of the child’s birth certificate issued by the competent authority (original will be returned after verification)
2. Copy of proof of residence for the registered address
3. Copy of SC/ST/OBC (NCL) certificate in the child’s name
4. Service certificate of parents employed in Central/State Government/PSU departments, duly signed by the head of office (original, which will not be returned), as per the attached proforma
5. Certificate indicating transfer details of the parent, duly endorsed by the competent authority (original, which will not be returned), as per the attached proforma
6. Copy of department ID card for government employees
7. Copy of discharge certificate for ex-servicemen
8. Copy of the child’s Aadhar card
9. One passport-size photograph of the child
10. Self-declaration, signed by the parent, stating the distance of residence from the school (original), as per the attached proforma. It is mandatory for at least one parent to be present during the admission process, along with the child.

For Category-I parents and those employed in departments that offer reimbursement for children’s education allowance, the following fees apply:
– Admission fees: Rs. 25.00
– VVN: Rs. 1500.00
– Total: Rs. 1525.00

No fees are required for others.

Please be aware that if any submitted documents are found to be false or incorrect at any stage, admission will be automatically cancelled. In such cases, the vacancies will be offered to waitlisted candidates in accordance with the KVS Admission Guidelines.

Failure to report at the designated date and time will result in the forfeiture of the admission selection.

KV Balvatika-III Admission Instructions 2023-24

Attention, parents seeking admission to Balvatika-III at Kendriya Vidyalaya! Please be advised to carefully review the following guidelines:

1. It is of utmost importance to note that the Right to Education (RTE) policy applies exclusively to parents falling under the SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories and residing within a 5km radius of the school.

2. Should you be applying for admission under the RTE quota, it is imperative to furnish the necessary certificate in your child’s name during the admission process.

3. For all children selected for admission, it is mandatory to present a birth certificate that explicitly states the child’s name at the time of enrollment.

KVS Balvatika-3 Admission Important Dates 2023-24

Mark your calendars, because the important dates for the admission process at KVS Balvatika-3 in the upcoming 2023-24 session have been announced. It is crucial that you don’t miss out on any of these dates.

To begin with, the notification for admission in Balvatika-3 should reach you no later than the 5th of July, 2023. This notification will provide you with all the necessary information regarding the admission process.

Once you have received the notification, the online registration for Balvatika-3 will commence on the 6th of July, 2023, precisely at 9:00 AM. Remember, this is a Thursday, so make sure to mark your calendars and set your alarms accordingly.

The last date for online registration is the 18th of July, 2023, which falls on a Tuesday. You will have until 7:00 PM on that day to complete your registration, so be sure to allocate enough time and avoid any last-minute rush.

After the registration process is complete, the provisional selection and waitlist of registered candidates will be declared. This will give you an idea of your position in the admission process and whether you have been selected or placed on the waitlist.

For those candidates who have been selected, the admission process will take place from the 20th of July, 2023 (Thursday) to the 28th of July, 2023 (Friday). It is important to complete the necessary steps during this period to secure your admission.

Applying for KV Balvatika-3: A Simple 5-Step Process

Step 1: Essential Information
Provide the full name, nationality, country of residence, state of residence, city, and residential address for at least one parent of the applicant.

Step 2: Choosing Kendriya Vidyalayas
You have the option to apply to up to three different Kendriya Vidyalayas, with no specific order of preference. To select your preferred Vidyalaya(s), simply click on the corresponding tabs. If you wish to apply to fewer than three Kendriya Vidyalayas, you may skip one or more tabs. However, you must choose at least one Vidyalaya.

Step 3: Required Documentation
Submit proof of the child’s date of birth and a passport-sized photo of the child. Additionally, proof of residence must be presented to the schools upon admission.

Step 4: Certification
I hereby confirm that I have carefully read and comprehended all sections of the instructions for completing this online application form. I have filled out the form in accordance with the provided guidelines. If offered admission by any Kendriya Vidyalaya, I will present original copies of all documents listed in the “Upload Documents” section during the admission process.

Step 5: Agreement to Terms and Conditions

KV Balvatika School Admission Documents 2023-24

Documents Required for Admission to KVS Balvatika School 2023-24: To complete the online application form for admission to KVS Balvatika School, it is mandatory to upload scanned copies or images of two documents: the child’s birth certificate and a photo of the child. Only .jpeg or .pdf files are accepted, and each file should not exceed 256 KB in size.

After filling in the necessary information in the previous sections of the online admission form, a list of documents will be displayed for each school selected in the application form. These documents need to be presented to the respective Vidyalaya at the time of admission, not while submitting the online application form.

Both originals and copies of the listed documents must be provided for verification purposes. For the convenience of applicants, sample pro-forma document templates are available for some of the documents. You can access these templates by clicking on “Click here to download pro-forma of documents” under the “Pro forma document samples” link.

The specific documents required for admission to Bal Vatika – 3 are as follows:
1. Certificate of proof of age, such as a birth certificate issued by the competent authority responsible for registering births. This can include certificates from Notified Area Council, Municipality, Municipal Corporation, extract from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital, and service records of Defence personnel. Upload a scan or picture of this certificate on the online admission portal, and provide the original certificate for verification at the time of admission. The original certificate will be returned after verification.

For grandchildren of PSU (project sector)/ IHL employees, proof of relationship between either of the child’s parents and the grandparent who is a PSU (project sector)/ IHL employee is required at the time of admission.

Children applying under SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/BPL category must provide a certificate issued by the competent authority in the concerned State Government / Union Government. This certificate should state that the child belongs to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/BPL category, as applicable. If the certificate is not available for the child, a certificate in respect of either of the parents may be accepted initially. However, the certificate for the child must be submitted within 3 months from the date of admission.

For children applying under the “Differently Abled” category, a certificate from the civil surgeon/rehabilitation centre or any other competent authority defined by the Government of India is required. This certificate should certify the child as handicapped, if applicable. If the Principal of a Vidyalaya can visually confirm the child’s handicap, a certificate may not be necessary initially. However, the parent will be advised to obtain the relevant certificate from the competent authority and submit it to the Vidyalaya as soon as possible.

If transfers are to be taken into account for children applying under a service category, a service certificate showing the number of transfers during the preceding 7 years, duly signed and stamped by the head of office, must be provided. The certificate should include the name, designation, and other relevant particulars in block letters.

For retired uniformed Defence employees, a certificate of retirement is required.

Proof of residence of the child is also necessary.

For children applying under the Single Girl Child category, an affidavit needs to be submitted. You can find a proforma of this affidavit by clicking on “Click here to download pro-forma of documents” or on the link labeled “Pro forma document samples”.

Lastly, don’t forget to upload a photo of the child as well.

KVS Balvatika Admission Lottery Results 2023-24

We are pleased to inform you that the results of the RTE (Right to Education Act 2009) Admission lottery for Balvatika I will soon be available for viewing. The lottery draw has been conducted, and the results will be displayed on the Notice Board of the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya school. On Thursday, 20th July 2023, the eagerly awaited admission lottery results for KV Balvatika-3, for the academic year 2023-24, will be officially announced. This day will also mark the declaration of the provisional select and waitlist lottery results for all registered candidates. Please bear in mind that the reservation criteria, in accordance with the RTE Act-2009, will be applicable for Balvatika-3. However, it is important to note that the provision for admission under the Single Girl Child Category will not be applicable to Balvatika-3.

KV Balvatika School Classrooms, furniture 2023-24

The KV Balvatika School is committed to creating a stimulating and vibrant learning environment for its students. The classrooms will be transformed into attractive and colorful spaces, designed to inspire and motivate children. To ensure their safety and comfort, age-appropriate furniture will be procured according to the guidelines set out in the Government Financial Rules of 2017. KVs have the option to choose hexagonal tables and chairs or any other suitable design that meets the needs of the students. The utmost priority is to ensure that these furniture pieces are child-friendly.

In addition to the furniture, each classroom will be equipped with smart class facilities that include high-quality audio systems, teaching aids, and storage facilities. These resources will enhance the learning experience and provide teachers with the necessary tools to deliver effective lessons.

To support the implementation of these improvements, an initial grant of Rs 2,50,000/ = (Rupees Two lakh Fifty Thousand only) will be provided by KVS (HQs) to government-funded KVs. This grant will assist in covering the expenses associated with creating an engaging and well-equipped learning environment for the students.

50 Balvatika KV School List

As per the NEP 2020 guidelines, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) started Balvatika classes (Pre-KG, LKG, UKG) in 50 selected Kendriya Vidyala schools last year. The admission process was successfully completed for Balvatika Class I, Balvatika class II, and Balvatika class III in particular Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. The next admission registration might be started in the month of May or June for the academic year 2023-24. Parents and guardians are advised to contact the nearest KV school and get an application form for getting Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG admission.

Qualification for Balvatika Teachers in KVS

What are the eligibility criteria for a KV teacher?: The requirements for becoming a Balvatika Teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya schools dictate that candidates must meet the educational qualifications established by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Specifically, individuals must have completed Senior Secondary Class (Class 12 or equivalent) at a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, they must hold either a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education, Pre-School Education, Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed) that took no less than two years to complete, or a B.Ed (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution.

What does Balvatika mean in KVS?

In KV schools, the designations Balvatika-1, Balvatika-2, and Balvatika-3 correspond to minimum age requirements of 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years respectively.
