Kendriya Vidyalaya with Hostel Facility, Rate, Capacity, and Hostel Facility Available School List: Kendriya Viayalaya, ASC Centre, located on Victoria Road in Bangalore, offers a hostel facility for girls within its campus. The hostel and school admissions are open to girls studying in Classes VI to XII. The school provides education in Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Admission to the school will be granted to children from remote areas in addition to the existing class strength, specifically those who are admitted to the hostel. To attract students from distant areas, admission to the hostel and school will be facilitated by the notified schools in the respective states from where the children are coming. This ensures that any child traveling long distances is guaranteed admission to both the school and the hostel.

KV Hostel Admission Process

Parents or guardians of children from the above mentioned notified areas can contact the Principals of the respective KVs for admission to KV ASC and the attached hostel. The Principals will grant admission to the school and hostel after confirming the availability of vacancies at KV ASC Girls Hostel via phone communication. Once admission has been granted, the vacancy in the hostel will be reserved for the student.

The guardian and the student will then be directed to report to the concerned school with the necessary admission documents. After obtaining fresh admission at the hostel, students will not be issued a transfer certificate for a period of two years or until the completion of their higher secondary studies, whichever comes earlier.

Catering Services in KV Hostel

Catering services at the hostel will be provided by private caterers, following a menu decided upon by the Committee of Hostel inmates in consultation with the warden. The approximate monthly mess charges will amount to Rs.6000/- starting from 01.04.2018. In addition to the mess charges, students will also be required to pay the following fees:
1. Refundable Security Deposit – Rs.2000/-
2. Non-refundable admission fee – Rs.500/-
3. Monthly room rent per student (inclusive of water and electricity charges) – Rs.400

1. What is the admission criterion in the hostel?

Hostel facility is available to the students from Class VI onwards.

Other candidates desirous of seeking fresh admission in a Kendriya Vidyalaya with hostel facility will be admitted if otherwise found eligible as per Admission Guidelines subject to the availability of seats.

4. What is the fee structure in the hostel?
