Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released a list of holidays and vacation breaks for all KV schools in India for the academic year 2022-23. The vacations include summer, winter, and autumn breaks, with varying dates and durations depending on the location of the school. CBSE Board Examination and Evaluation duties will be retained for teachers and employees during the summer vacation. Principals are instructed to adhere to the given instructions and grant entitled leave to the performing staff.

सक्षम अधिकारी ने शैक्षिक सत्र 2022-23 के लिए केन्‍दीय विद्यालयों में ग्रीष्‍मकालीन तथा शरद / शीतकालीन अवकाश (Vacation & Breaks) हेतु निम्‍नलिखित अनुसूची का निर्णय लिया है:-

(क) गर्मी वाले स्‍थान:-

(1) क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय:- आगरा, चंडीगढ़, कोलकाता, देहरादून, दिल्‍ली, गुरूग्राम, गुवाहाटी, जयपुर, जम्‍मू एण्‍ड कश्‍मीर, लखनऊ, पटना, रांची, सिल्‍चर, तिनसुकिया व वाराणसी।

(a) Hot places:-

(1) Regional Offices:- Agra, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Dehradun, Delhi, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu and Kashmir, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Silchar, Tinsukia and Varanasi.

(2) क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय: अहमादाबाद, बेंगलुरू, चेन्‍नई, हैदराबार, जबलपुर, मुंबई, रायपुर, भुवनेश्‍वर, भोपाल एवं एर्नाकुलम।

(2) Regional Offices: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal and Ernakulam.

(ख) सर्दी वाले स्‍थान: (देहरादून संभाग के अंतगर्त आने वाले सरधी वाले अथान के केंद्रीय विद्यालय को छोडकर):

(b) Winter Locations: (Except Kendriya Vidyalaya at Sardhi Wale Athan falling under Dehradun Division):

(घ) अधिक सर्दी वाले स्‍थान:

(1) लेह, कारगिल व नुब्रा (लद्दाख) UT स्थित केन्‍द्रीय विद्यालय।

(d) Places with extreme cold:

(1) Kendriya Vidyalayas at Leh, Kargil and Nubra (Ladakh) UT.

(2) केन्‍द्रीय विद्यालय, तवांग  – Kendriya Vidyalaya Tawang

(3) केन्‍द्रीय विद्यालय, डलहौजी  – Kendriya Vidyalaya Dalhousie

(4) केन्‍द्रीय विद्यालय, काठमांडू – Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu

Note:

A – Both dates (days) are inclusive.
B – If the day of opening/day before closing Vidyalaya is a holiday or declared a holiday by govt, the same will be included in Vacation & Break
C – Teachers / Employees whose services are needed for CBSE Board Examinations Class-X & XII -2022 & Evaluation work as per direction of CBSE will be retained by the Principal of the KV.
D – Proportionate leave (EL/CCL) as per rule will be given for the period of stay at the station for CBSE Examination & Evaluation.
E – Principals are instructed to adhere to the above instructions and take necessary action for granting leave entitled to the Teachers/Employees who will perform their duties for CBSE Board Examination & Evaluation during the summer vacation.
