Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Online Admission 2023-2024: Process, Dates, and Details: Looking for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Online Admission 2023-2024? The online registration for Class 1 admission has already started on 27th March 2023 (Monday), from 10:00 AM onwards. The last date for online registration for Class 1 is 17th April 2023 (Monday), until 7:00 PM.

KVS Admission Procedure for 2023-2024 Class I

If you are looking for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Online Admission 2023-2024, the following sequence of admission procedures will be followed.
First Lot: For each section, 10 of the 40 seats for Class I will be reserved for SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently abled applicants under the RTE provisions. The selection for these 10 seats will be through a lottery from all eligible applications coming from residents of the Neighborhood.
Second Lot: A lottery will be conducted for the selection of the remaining seats reserved for Differently Abled candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCNCL/Unreserved applicants, according to their Priority Category.
Third Lot: The remaining seats after considering RTE and Differently Abled applicants will be filled based on the existing Priority Category of Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 for Project/IHL KVs) until the sanctioned strength is reached, or all the registered candidates from Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in case of Project/IHL KV) are admitted.
Fourth Lot: The total number of SC/ST/OBC-NCL applicants will be counted from the admitted summary of RTE, DA, Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 for Project/IHL KVs) admissions until the third phase. If there is a shortfall in the seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, these categories of applicants will be admitted based on the order of priority, irrespective of the sanctioned strength.
Fifth Lot: If the sanctioned strength is not reached, vacant seats will be offered to applicants from Priority Cat-3 (Cat-4 in Project/IHL KV) onwards based on the existing priority list for unreserved seats only. The unfilled leftover reserved seats of RTE/SC/ST/OBC (NCL) will be kept vacant. Here’s what you need to know: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) reserves 25% of the available seats in Class 1 admission for the Right to Education (RTE) quota. SC, ST, and OBC-Non Creamy Layer categories have a reserved quota of 15%, 7.5%, and 27%, respectively. After filling up the seats for RTE and Differently Abled categories, admission in Cat-1 will be given priority. Cat-1 seats will be filled with students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories. Following that, admission in Cat-2 will be given priority, which will also include SC/ST/OBC-NCL. KV School 2023-24: Fee and Other Concessions Explained: If you’re looking to enroll your child in KV School 2023-24, you may be wondering about the fee and other concessions available. Here’s what you need to know:
– Children admitted under the 25% quota prescribed under RTE Act 2009 will not be charged any fee.
– Expenses for NCERT textbooks, notebooks, stationery, uniform, and transport will be reimbursed for 25% of children admitted under RTE provisions, subject to a prescribed ceiling and availability of funds. Proper bills must be produced.
– If your child is admitted in Class-I under the RTE Act, they will continue to enjoy exemptions and concessions until Class VIII, whether they stay in the same KV or transfer to another.
– You must provide proof of address when registering your child.
– If you are an employee with fee reimbursement facilities, you cannot claim RTE concessions.
– Orphaned children due to the Covid-19 pandemic will be considered for admission over and above the class strength under PM CARES for Children Scheme. The admission will be based on a list provided by the District Magistrate of the concerned district, with a maximum of 10 children per KV and 02 children per class.
